As a family, we have always owned and loved dogs. We had wonderful experiences with Golden Retrievers as family pets and then decided to adopt a standard Goldendoodle. Our experience with Goldendoodles has shown us that they combine the affectionate personality of a Golden Retriever with the hypo-allergenic, low-shedding qualities of a standard poodle to result in a breed of dog that makes a wonderful pet for everyone from young adults to families with children of all ages. After owning Golden Retrievers and Goldendoodles all our lives, we are convinced there isn't a sweeter, more family-friendly breed.
